Howdy y’all!

You might have noticed a lot of content dropping recently in reference to the Christmas in July savings event we are currently running. The reasoning behind the event is threefold. We began Georgia Seasonal Lighting last holiday season and it was so popular with our clients that we realized we needed to begin taking reservations much earlier this year in order to keep up with the demand. We also figured it would be a good way to pass on some savings to all y’all as a thank you for supporting our business. The last reason is the man in charge of the program, Mark, really loves Christmas and I think he was jonesing really hard for a holiday fix!

In case Georgia Seasonal Lighting is new to you here’s a quick overview. If it’s your first time using the service we come out, come up with a fantastic design, supply professional quality lights, install them and then take them down for you once the season is over. You get to spread some pro-level holiday cheer without all the hassle. You own the lights when we’re done, so the next year all you have to do is call us out to install them again. We’ll even store them for you if you’d like.

If you’d like some more info on the service give us a call or shoot us a message. If you’re ready to secure your spot on this year’s list make sure to make your reservation before October 1st in order to take advantage of preseason prices.

Dog Days of Summer

In case you hadn’t noticed its quite hot out. Luckily most of us have access to some sort of AC and shelter that allows us to escape the heat. Your yard isn’t so lucky. If your turf isn’t properly cared for the high temps can do quite a number on it. Here are a few tips to keep your lawn healthy and superior this summer.

  • You want your grass to receive between 1 and 1.5 inches of water each week during the summer.

  • Water in the morning for best results.

  • Greying, dull green and browning in color are signs your yard is thirsty.

  • If you walk across the lawn and your footprints don’t disappear quickly that’s another sign you should give your grass a drink.

  • Mowing a little higher can help prevent heat stress and hold in moisture.

Those are just a few easy tips to help your lawn weather the summer. For more detailed instructors, or if you think your yard requires professional consultation please feel free to give us a call. We’re always here to help.
